You want to enjoy your violin and play for others, so what’s stopping you?

“I was robbed of the chance to learn when I was a kid.”

“Progress is slow so I’ll always feel behind.”

“I love practicing but for some reason I forget that when it’s time to practice. Plus most days are WAY too busy.”

The system has failed you because it’s been tailored to children for 300 years.

Hi I’m Jenny, your personal guide.

I learned as an adult, so I know how frustrating it can be to see little kids on YouTube playing amazing things on fiddle. It’s logical to think you’ll never find the time to catch up.

If you’re like some of my students, you’ve struggled with finding time and knowing what to practice.

 Enter… [drum roll please]

It’s custom made for busy adults. 5 minutes a day. For a year.

(Or use lifetime access to go your own pace.)

Relieve Stress

Don’t worry about what to practice each day. Relaxing 5 minute video practices will build your skill.

Know For Sure

Jenny is active on community forums. Post optional self tape videos to get feedback and accelerate progress. You’ll never have to wonder if you’re doing it right.

Save Time

You’ll be your own best coach, so no time is wasted on bad technique or injuries. It doesn’t take as long when you practice the right stuff.

“I can’t believe I’m already playing Last of the Mohicans!”

Before this program I had not played violin or learned to read sheet music. I never thought it would be worth it to try and learn at this point in life.

I am a single mother working full time so when I first started I literally only did Jenny’s daily 5 minute videos. As time went on I started to feel I was actually accomplishing things so I got excited and began to practice up to 20 minutes per day. My routine is very simple. I am usually very anxious and excited to see the new videos, especially when it is a new song. I go along with the video and practice for a few mins and have fun, and then I put the violin away.

My experience has been fantastic. I surprised myself with my abilities and have Jenny to thank for helping me do something I never thought I could do. The program stays fun and entertaining with new songs, making fun friends who want to learn as you do and of course, interaction with Jenny who makes it all seem more like a fun social group than boring lessons.

I can’t believe that I am already playing Last of the Mohicans! The song has gotten me though some hard times. I played it for my Mom and she said, “Lisa! You are playing The Last of the Mohicans!”. I was so happy I thought I could cry.

What People Are Saying About Learning With Jenny

My playing was rough. I didn’t know where to start, how to keep going or what I was doing wrong. Jenny’s program was perfect for me. I was a little apprehensive on the cost but I took the risk and it was worth it. I mean, I really play music, like never before!

Jesse

Thankfully I got signed up in the nick of time! I’m way further along than I thought possible in this short of time. The Auld Lang Syne part was fun. I loved learning the base version and then applying ornaments and different endings. No matter what level you are you can add something to your level.

What Makes Learning With Jenny SO Different?

Most adults are eager to play music and it’s hard to know when and how to practice the fundamentals. This program shows you just what you need to know to practice effectively so you can get on with playing music.

I didn’t learn as a kid, so I know how it feels to wonder if you have what it takes and wonder if you’re wasting your time.

I know how frustrating it is to feel behind, and how annoying it is that most teaching is designed for kids.

Private lessons are very difficult to schedule and it’s hard to know what to practice through the week, while YouTube takes a lot of mental energy to sift through.

It’s easy to get stuck feeling like it is impossible to learn as an adult.

When you follow along with my organized program:

  • Practice becomes a stress reliever
  • Your sound improves so you enjoy practice even more
  • You can work on advanced techniques and tunes without forming bad habits

The daily bite sized format really helps adults for two main reasons:

  1. Small bites allow the brain to make more progress in less time
  2. It’s so much easier to practice on a busy day when at least you don’t have to think about what to practice

And the community makes a difference.

I’ve been stunned how much faster my students can progress when surrounded by others in the same boat.

LIMITED TIME BONUS #2!

Free Tech Support by Jenny and Team

If you’re like me you have a sort of love/hate thing going with the computer and all tech.

We’re drawn to this 300 year old wood box with gut strings and horse hair attached, so chances are we’re not the most futuristic techie people.

Teaching online has been an even greater challenge for me than learning violin as an adult. I’ve had to gather a team of tech people to teach me and troubleshoot.

My team will be available to you to answer any tech Q that comes up along the way.

(If you’re NOT like me and you ARE tech savvy then… welcome and please come tell us your secrets!)

LIMITED TIME BONUS #3!

Live Music Masterclass Tapes

First lemme be completely clear: you do not need any music theory or sheet music reading skills to excel at my violin program and make great fiddle music.

But if this stuff interests you, I’ve got your back!

This bonus will give you access to review four workshops I hosted complete with worksheets. Within these tapes you’ll find:

– Answers to some of the common music theory questions that pop up on violin
– De-mystify the weird system of note naming on the finger board
– Understand what makes a certain scale a certain scale
– Difference between major and minor

And a bunch more little secrets of the universe that aren’t necessary to know but do sometimes make things easier and less confusing.

What’s my investment?

If I could snap my fingers and give you mad violin skills, how much would that be worth to you?

It is almost as good as magic to train violin stress free. It won’t happen overnight but it will happen sooner than you think and we will have fun together along the way.

It usually takes 2-5 years of weekly private lessons to get good.

Even if we call it 2 years, that would cost anywhere from $2,600 to over $6,000. (Assuming lessons are in the $25 to $60 range.)

Many people end up in private lessons in perpetuity because the progress just doesn’t come. You can easily spend $5,000 and counting and still not be happy with your sound. That’s fine if you enjoy your lessons.

But if you’re frustrated, you’re not alone. The problem is weekly lessons are not efficient. Momentum is lost between lessons so the whole thing starts to seem impossible. Within one year we can cover what used to take me many years to teach students via private lessons.

If you sounded the way you want, how much could you earn playing gigs, busking or joining a church band?

Try Your Violin Year Risk Free for 30 Days – 100% Money Back Guarantee

I think this system is the best way for adults to learn violin in the shortest amount of time, but I don’t expect it to work for everyone. If you and I are not a good fit, I’ll refund your money in full. I want you to be able to use your hard earned dollars for the next thing that may help your violin.

Two enrollment package options:

If you EVER feel stuck or unsure about your playing, I’ll get you unstuck by recommending a 5 minute practice.

This is a bold promise because we all get stuck and there can be many reasons. I know adult violin learning inside and out.

It’s guaranteed to work, or I’ll handpick something else.

What if I don’t have a violin and can’t afford a $500+ instrument right now?

I get it. And I’ve got your back on the violin shopping dilemma. I don’t want this to delay you any longer.

When you enroll you’ll have access to my full Buying and Renting Guide. I will steer you around the many potential pitfalls and take you through step by step to choose the perfect instrument for your budget and tastes.

Getting the right violin in your hands is crucial. If you’re on a budget I’ll send you to my favorite shop for a rental for $22/mo.

Violin rental plus the Your Violin Year monthly payment plan is the most affordable way I’ve ever seen to get reliable and fully supported violin training!

This is for you if:

– You’re longing to perform confidently

– You need to have fun

– You’ll give it a shot for 5 minutes a day

– You’ve tried YouTube, teachers and courses and are still frustrated

– You know a lot like how to bow etc, but can’t do it with ease yet

– You know nothing and are a total clean slate

– You’re tech challenged (It’s okay. Most of us violin peeps are. This is pretty low tech and we’ll figure it out together.)

-The idea of playing Twinkle makes you wanna puke

This is not for you if:

– You’re looking for a quick fix  (5 min a day is enough but you gotta let it compound over time)

– You already love your sound and feel fully expressive on violin

– Your current lessons, courses or YouTube instruction are working for you

– You JUST wanna play sheet music and songs (I’ll teach you plenty of music but there are a lot of simpler exercises in here where the real magic happens)

“I say the best laid plans of mice and hot violinists often go awry because I have a lot going on with family, church, and work. What I like the most is I always have the videos to fall back on. Jenny is good at listening to what goals I have and offering how best to achieve them. I like that I can work on vibrato, double stops, and shifting within the first couple years. I also enjoy making new friends who are always ready to share their talent and comments.”

FAQ

What if I want private lessons from you instead?
I only take on new students for private lessons who have completed one of my programs. Why? Because I’ve learned that the program works better for building the base skills. I’ll know we are already on the same page and will have so much foundation to build on.
How can this one program suit all levels?

My program allows you to spend your time where you most need and enjoy it. When you join, all of the exercises from beginner to very advanced are at your finger tips.

Not everyone needs to start back at the basics, but all top performers review them from time to time.

When the Golden State Warriors got a new coach, he started by focusing on basic passing drills. Team members felt insulted until they started dominating the league.

So, no matter how long you’ve been playing you may find something in my basics exercises that makes you excellent.

Then the advanced stuff I teach is all in bite sized exercises that anyone can practice. And since I was an adult violin beginner myself I tend to lean toward the tricks and techniques that sound more difficult than they are.

In other words, to keep the basketball analogy going, I teach the fundamentals and I also teach the flashy Harlem Globe Trotters tricks and you get to pick the exact mixture that feels best for you.

Do I need special technical skills or equipment?

This is pretty low tech. If you are able to read this web site right now and browse videos on YouTube you will be good to go. My team is here to help you with any tech support issue. Fellow members are also great about helping each other troubleshoot when any one of us has tech difficulties.

What if I'm going out of town?

It’s not a problem. I actually think it’s great to take breaks. That’s why I offer you lifetime access to all of your practice videos. You can review at any time and feel relaxed to go at your own pace.

I wasn’t making much headway in learning how to play the fiddle. Other teachers would have me perform the sheet music without learning what I had needed to know, like how to hold the bow or fiddle properly. I chose to work with Jenny because she seemed to be interested in revealing the specific details and the proper techniques of playing the fiddle. And I was right!

Even with only 5 minutes I still made noticeable progress.

The best time to start violin is 10 years ago. The second best time is today.

– Ancient Wisdom

It’s so much fun for me to see (and hear!) my students make breakthroughs. I’d love to work with you next.

I’m closing enrollment soon so I can focus on you.
